Our standard MOQ is 50 pieces per design. This minimum can be split across standard size runs (such as S, M, L, XL) and up to two colorways. For highly complex technical outerwear featuring specialized molded hardware or custom-dyed fabrics, MOQs start between 100 to 200 pieces. Low MOQs allow pet brands to validate new fit curves without over-committing capital.

Canine anatomy varies far more than human body types. We utilize 3D quadruped pattern grading that categorizes sizing by chest girth, neck circumference, and topline spine length. We provide specialized grading templates for standard chest profiles, deep-chested breeds (Greyhounds, Dobermans), and broad-chested/short-bodied breeds (French Bulldogs, Pugs). Customized size matrices ensure zero leg slip and full freedom of movement.

Yes. Safety is paramount because animals frequently lick or bite their clothes. All fabrics, threads, and dyes sourced by Tack Apparel comply with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, REACH, and CPSIA standards. We ensure 100% lead-free snaps, phthalate-free screen prints, non-toxic reactive dyes, and chew-resistant hardware with zero loose small components that could present choking hazards.

Crucial functional additions like leash portals, harness openings, and reflective safety details are routine options in our manufacturing process. We construct double-bar-tacked leash slits that accommodate both collar and harness placement underneath the garment. Integrated D-ring anchor pads are reinforced with heavy box-stitch pattern webbing, tested under tensile stress loads to handle energetic dogs without seam tearing.

Physical sample development requires 7 to 12 working days once the tech pack, fabric selection, and lab dips are finalized. Once the physical pre-production sample is approved, bulk manufacturing requires 15 to 30 working days, depending on order volume and decoration complexity. Express sample turnarounds are available upon request.

For hook-and-loop fasteners, we use premium low-profile micro-Velcro that securely grips without entangling fine pet hair or undercoat fur.

Under DDP terms, Tack Apparel manages all export documentation, import customs duties, tariffs, and door-to-door delivery via air freight or ocean container directly to your warehouse or Amazon FBA fulfillment locations in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
